Centre for Backache
National and international examinations have shown that conventional
therapeutic methods of backache, which mostly focus on only one cause of backache, are not
permanently successful. Relapses occur frequently.
However, backache most often has multiple causes. Chronic backache of ambiguous causation – accounting for 85% of the cases – is curable: for example by using GRIP (Göttinger Rücken-Intensiv-Programm - Goettingen Active Back Programme), which we have integrated into our concept at the EuromedClinic. Due to the holistic treatment of all factors relevant to backache, the pain can be significantly relieved, new patterns of behaviour can be learnt and at the same time the muscular system can be built up.
The special feature of diagnosis and treatment in the Centre for Backache is that various specialists, such as pain therapists, orthopaedists, spinal surgeons, psychotherapists and chiropractors treat a patient together. In doing so, a best-possible exchange of information is achieved, the treatment can be adjusted to the condition of the patient at any time and unnecessary examinations are avoided.
