Quick patient test : MRSA

Were you ever diagnosed with highly-resistant bacteria in connection with an infection, a medical treatment, or hospital stay?

Do the following factors apply to you?:

Do you live in a care facility? Or do you visit relatives living there?
Do you care for or visit relatives or acquaintances that are in nursing care or in a coma?
Are you a dialysis patient?
Do you have skin or soft-tissue infections?
Do you have a stomach tube for artificial feeding? Or a catheter for artificial urination?
Do you have a chronic, open ulcer?
Do you have diabetes with dry or open ulcers?
Were you transferred to us from a foreign hospital?
Are you planning to have a surgical intervention that will require a non-ambulatory stay
        or a stay in the intensive care unit?



Result:
It is unlikely that you are infected with MRSA. However, for your own safety EuromedClinic will carry out the corresponding test if you are planning to have an operation with us.
You could have an infection, and therefore an MRSA examination is a good idea if you are scheduled for an operation. In EuromedClinic you will be always tested for your own safety before entering the OR!
